Position Overview
FedEx Freight is hiring Logistics Coordinators to manage freight tracking, exception processing, and operational reporting at service center facilities. This is a weekday daytime position with full benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Trace freight shipments across the FedEx Freight network using internal tracking systems to provide real-time status updates.
- Process and resolve delivery exceptions including refused shipments, address corrections, and damaged freight claims.
- Coordinate inbound linehaul trailer schedules with origin service centers and update local dispatch on arrival timing.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports covering service metrics, volume trends, and exception rates.
- Communicate with commercial customers regarding shipment status inquiries, appointment changes, and claim resolution.
